Journey

A journey begins with only one step.
But if that little step is not taken, the journey is never made.

The tiny soul is thrown out of the womb of G‑dliness and sent far away into total darkness, only to try and find its way back.

Groping, and searching in the dark, which is filled with danger. Many get lost along the way.

Even the few that make it, may not have done it alone, but through the secret merit, of some unknown ancestor.

Here we stand looking back. Only now seeing the past for what it really was, and breathing a sigh of relief.

The journey, of course, is not over. But the first obstacle has been overcome.

Now, forgetting about the past, and looking only to the future. What new challenges lie ahead?
