The blazing sun is cowered,
the entire universe trembles in anticipation.

Every particle in the creation,
wonders what the outcome will be.

The waiting seems endless,
what will be the decree?

The silence is suddenly broken,
by the piercing blast of the shofar.

The King has been crowned once again,
a sigh of relief, rolls through the heavens.

The purpose of the universe has been verified,
justifying its existence for another year.

The day of judgment has passed,
the tension is broken.

The covenant has been reaffirmed.

G‑d gives life, and in turn,
man elevates himself and the creation.

An eternal partnership.
